Adding a Physical Classroom as an Alternate Host on the Zoom portal allows the In-Room Crestron or Neat tablet to display the upcoming event when you enter the room so you can easily Start from and manage meetings directly on the tablet. 

  1. Navigate to nyu.zoom.us
  2. If you are scheduling a new meeting click the Schedule a Meeting button, otherwise, if you are adding the physical room to an already scheduled meeting, Click Meetings --> Upcoming --> Hover over the desired meeting and click the Edit button
  3. Scroll down to Options and click the Show link:
  4. In the Alternative Hosts field type in ONLY the number of the room that you would like to add. Then select the correct item from the drop down, ie:
  5. Make any other changes you would like to the meeting setup and click the Save button at the bottom.
