The Cisco Personal Communication Assistant (PCA) is a web-based platform for accessing and managing your NYU issued VOIP (office phone) number.
To modify your PIN:
- Log in to the Cisco Unity PCA interface here: http://unity.nyu.edu/ciscopca
- Select Passwords>Change PIN.
- Enter a new password in the "New PIN" field. When setting a new password, it:
- Must be at least six digits in length
- Cannot start with "0"
- Cannot include your five-digit NYU extension
- Cannot be ascending or descending (e.g., 012345 or 987654)
- Cannot spell out your name
- Cannot contain groups of repeated digits (e.g., 408408)
- Cannot repeat a digit more than two times consecutively (e.g., 288831)
- Cannot use only two different digits (e.g., 121221)
- Cannot repeat any of the last four passwords you have used
- Confirm your password by typing it again.
- Click Save.
