Log into your Domain Registrar and add an A record for the desired domain


For Example:



Name.                       TTL.     Type.     IP of your hosting.nyu site

domainname.com    1200     A             15.204.130.71



* Note: You may find the IP address of your hosting.nyu site by logging in to your dashboard at 

https://hosting.nyu.edu/dashboard/

On the cPanel dashboard the IP address will be listed at the top right, under General Information > Shared IP Address


Once the A record has been created on your domain registrar's system, it may take 30min-24hours to populate. 


On the hosting.nyu.edu cPanel dashboard, navigate to Domains > Domains.

Then on the Domains page, click Create a New Domain

On the Create a New Domain page enter the domain name you would like to add (usually point it to the same root/public_html folder as the primary domain.
