1. Open the Camera app in Windows 10 by clicking the Search field in the bottom left corner and typing Camera. 
  2. Click the Camera icon to open the Camera App
  3. Once the Camera App opens you will be in the previous state of the camera by default. To Toggle between the Still Camera and Video Camera mode, click the respective icons as illustrated below. 
  4. Once your camera is in Video Mode your circular icon will change to a video camera. Click this button to record your video.

  5. When done, click the red STOP button.
  6. Your file will be written to the default location C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Pictures\Camera Roll with a file name based on the datestamp. You may want to rename the file before sharing it.
