Note: The NYU phone number does NOT get forwarded to your cell phone. You must install and use the Cicso Jabber software phone to be able to make and receive calls using your NYU phone.

Configuration
- Open Jabber on your device.
- When prompted for your username@company.com or username@example.com enter your username in this format:
YourNetID@JABBER.nyu.edu
- The following screen will ask for your Username and Password, enter YourNetID as your username and your NYU password as your password.
- Click Sign in
Making Calls
Search NYU Phone Book
For internal calls, you may type the name of the person you are trying to reach.
Dialing an NYU Extension
When calling extensions within NYU you can just type the 5 digit extension and click call. 
Phone Calls Outside of NYU
In order to dial numbers outside of the university switchboard, be sure to dial 9 + country code + number, for example, 9 1 555-555-5555.
