Adobe has changed their licensing model from a serialized deployment to Named User Licensing for individual users, and Shared Device Licensing for lab environments. Older Adobe apps licensed under the deprecated NYU serial license have ceased functioning as of November 30th 2019.
Note* You must run the adobe creative cloud cleaner tool if you have any prexisting adobe products on your machine. Restart your machine after cleaning. Failure to purge old adobe apps/licensing will create installation problems.

1. Visit nyu.onthehub.com and authenticate your account via nyu netid SSO
2. The Adobe listing should populate on your OnTheHub Home page under either the STAFF or FACULTY tabs. Select the Adobe Creative Cloud icon under this tab:
3. The free Adobe Creative Cloud ETLA offering should populate. Click Download Adobe Here:
4. The site will automatically trigger a download for the adobe creative cloud installer onto your machine. Once the download has finished go ahead and run the installer.
5. You will be prompted to sign in. Click on the blue sign in button. Input your nyu netid email address and hit continue. If there are no account issues, you will be automatically redirected to the nyu SSO page where you will enter you nyu netid and netid password followed by a nyu MFA prompt.
Please select Company or School Account if prompted to select an account type.

My CC console installed but I am unable to install any apps?

I already have a pre-existing personal adobe account created under my nyu netid email address and want to provision my account for use with nyu adobe licensing.
You will need to force the CC console to redirect to NYU SSO. To do this, simply enter nyu.edu as the email address. You will then be redirected to SSO where you will enter your nyu netid and password.
My Installation keeps failing
Run the adobe CC cleaner tool to remove all traces of adobe apps. Make sure you RESTART your machine and only then reattempt a clean Adobe CC installation.

I am a student, how can I procure Adobe CC for my personal machine?
NYU's free adobe license does not cover students for their personal machines. You do however have the option of purchasing adobe cc for $20 a month of the first year under the student subscription discount plan. Please visit nyu.onthehub.com, select adobe under the student tab, and complete your purchase. You can also explore options directly through adobe- https://www.adobe.com/cis_en/creativecloud/plans.html
I want Adobe CC installed on all the workstations in my lab, how do I proceed?
For shared user workstations in a lab, Psych/Cns IT will be able to deploy a special version of Adobe Creative Cloud that will allow anyone with a standalone adobe account, or active nyu netid to log in and use the preinstalled adobe apps. This means that even students can login, as well as affiliates, collaborators, and contractors, who might not necessarily posses a nyu netid. Non netid users can create a free adobe account and login onto any university machine equipped with adobe SDL(shared device license).
I hit a "Limit Reached" Error
If a user has signed into Adobe Creative Cloud on two other machines, they will be met with a Limit Reached dialog box. This dialog box below means you are required to sign out of other computers so that you may proceed with signing in to use Adobe on the current machine. Selecting the first option "Sign me out of the other computers so I can sign in here" will allow you to select which machine to sign out of.
