It is recommend to install the latest stable version available to keep up with all security updates and features.
***DO NOT INSTALL ANY MATLAB VERSION LOWER THAN MATLAB R2022b. THESE PRIOR RELEASES ARE STILL BUNDLED WITH VULNERABLE COMPONENTS (apachetomcat & log4j v1, v2) that are exploitable in the wild and WILL be flagged for immediate remediation by NYU CyberCompliance scanners on NYU owned machines.
